Bio
Kyle Daniel Gordon is a Los Angeles–based orchestrator, arranger, and conductor working across film, television, and contemporary music.
As lead orchestrator, recent projects include Rosalía’s acclaimed album LUX with the London Symphony Orchestra, BBC Proms: Soul Revolution with the BBC Concert Orchestra, and the viral Baby Shark 10th Anniversary symphonic album.
In film and television, Kyle has contributed orchestrations to Oppenheimer and Bridgerton, and worked as a member of the music department on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and The Mandalorian. As part of leading orchestration teams in Los Angeles, he has collaborated on the music of composers including John Williams, Ludwig Göransson, Kris Bowers, Walter Murphy, and Justin Hurwitz.
In demand across multiple genres, Kyle has collaborated with the London Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Seattle Symphony, National Arts Centre Orchestra, and scoring orchestras around the world.
As a conductor, he has led sessions and concerts across Los Angeles, Nashville, and London. In 2024, he received a Billboard Award for #1 Classical Album for his work as orchestrator and conductor on Romani: The Untold Story with the London Symphony Orchestra and Dallas String Quartet. Expanding beyond the classical world, Kyle arranged for touring orchestral shows with the bands Hawthorne Heights and Escape the Fate.
Trained in both jazz and classical traditions, Kyle holds a Master’s Degree in Music from the University of North Texas and made his Carnegie Hall debut as a bassist in 2018.
